About José Luis Fernández Sánchez
I have worked on a project to create a neutral telecommunications operator that brings fiber optics to every home. This project consisted of acquiring small telecommunications operators, auditing the network, identifying and cataloging all network elements from the Data Center to the home, and creating a database of addresses and passive network elements in the towns covered by these networks. Subsequently, we introduced a logical inventory that feeds into the customer management system, where we integrate the operators' networks so that any operator can be a customer of the infrastructure by renting it, without the need to invest in their own infrastructure.I was in charge of the audits and full surveys of the networks and the integration of several operators into the system, overseeing their initial steps after integration and the maintenance of their passive networks and customer inventories, managing and supporting the technicians, updating information in the GIS and logical inventory, detailing and auditing the splicing charts. I also conducted resource needs identification for the audit, prepared budgets, handled material procurement, and managed the logistics for maintenance with a team of 25 people.As a detail, it is worth noting that this company started the project in 2018 and was valued at 1.5 billion euros in 2024.In addition to this work, I prepare and conduct meetings, coordinate my office team, analyze data to improve any issues causing delays, resolve doubts from my team, and cover for my director when he is not in the office.
