After many years in the acute care setting working in Diabetes Education, Utilization Review/Case Management, and the Operating Room, I have moved into the long term care realm of assisted living. In June of 2018, I opened an assisted living dedicated to memory care: BeeHive Homes at the Cortez Homestead. It is a 16-bed home and currently employs 15. It is an honor to serve those living with dementia & their families. We serve primarily Montezuma County, Colorado but have had residents from nearby counties as well.
