Set strategy for long-range exhibition and programming projects as member of Garden senior leadership team. Ensure mission-driven, scholarly integrity; prioritization of IDEA principles; and popular appeal of exhibition offerings. ◆ SECURE INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL PARTNERS to realize ambitious exhibition and programming portfolio. Organize and lead cross-functional working groups, seeking institution-wide input. Identify and recruit curators, advisors, institutional collaborators, and exhibition lenders. Lead 15+ exhibition and programming team members.◆ ENVISION COMMUNITY-ENGAGING PROGRAMS, setting goals and messaging, and determining logistical needs.◆ COLLABORATE TO MANAGE FINANCIAL, CAPITAL, AND HUMAN RESOURCES in developing exhibitions and programs. Convene cross-departmental logistics meetings to ensure real-time communication and feedback; organize post-project evaluation meetings to improve operations.◆ REPRESENT NYBG EXHIBITIONS INTERNALLY AND EXTERNALLY, presenting at Board meetings, networking in support of project partnerships, holding leadership positions in professional organizations, identifying exhibitions with strong fundraising potential, participating in donor relations, and making media appearances.
