Over my 6+ years at Riot, my journey has transformed from the reactive world of stabilizing and supporting the People/HR systems to one that is transformative, proactive and strategic. As a Senior, I manage projects and contribute to the strategy and vision of our data ecosystem, while continuing to mature the technical and operational solutions that level Riot up. I work in the People/HR space with an awesome, talented Systems and Operations crew that are driven to make Riot run smoothly. Beyond my immediate team, I work with customers across the business to design and deliver holistic solutions that bridge their diverse technical and operational requirements. Having come from the operational lens of HR early in my career, I have been successful in driving high quality solutions through my deep knowledge and empathy of the space.At Riot, operational change has been a constant. Within the past 4 years, the team transitioned our company from Oracle Fusion to Workday with a suite of modules - including Core HR, Compensation, Learning, Performance, and Time/Attendance. This transition includes the core configuration, business processes, system security, reports, dashboards, and notifications. I have contributed to the quantum leap of building a GDPR compliant data ecosystem and designed and supported over 30 integrations for payroll, benefits, time and attendance, and our internal enterprise service bus/API's that fuel mission critical applications. It's been a long road, but incredibly rewarding to see the transformation that Riot has undertaken.Now that Riot has adopted and stabilized on a Workday-centric infrastructure, my current projects revolve around future operational/system transformations for Riot's global workforce and how to effectively support its growing set of IP's .

As HRIS Specialist, I was responsible for analyzing, developing, implementing, and supporting new processes and systems for the organization's human capital departments. This endeavor includes a long list of responsibilities with the core goal of advancing our organization's information systems to scale in a high volume low margin business.Notable Responsibilities:• Implementation and Configuration: Identify process flows, configuration details, and departmental needs for the company’s HR technology strategy. Contributed to the smooth transition of a three phase implementation period for all primary modules including base HCM, ATS, self-service, electronic on- boarding, performance reviews, routing, training courses, and time keeping. • Report and Query Building: Leader for reporting human capital metrics across the organization. Develop reports for deliverables and provide analysis on the results. A combination of SQL, XML, and Excel make up the backbone of the work that translates to the organization’s data driven strategies. • Process Analysis and Needs Assessment: Liaison for human capital departments to identify and document needs. Propose solutions based on collected feedback that supports the HR technology strategy. • HRIS Trainer: Travel across California to train new staff on HR systems and veteran staff on new functions. Develop and prepare training materials including guides, presentations, and webinars. • Systems Support: Troubleshooter for all bugs/errors experienced by the teams that utilize HR systems. Liaison for third party partners to ensure proper integration to maintain integrity of data across all platforms. Test all new system upgrades, patches, module enhancements, and new third party integrations. • ATS Manager: Manage the interface between ATS requisitions and the company website. Maintain integrity of job description format across the web, and ensure proper SEO coding for posting campaigns.

An HR Coordinator at THINK Together is a position of many hats. As a warden of the THINK Together employee lifecycle, I coordinated and presented orientations, ensured proper paperwork, and was responsible for the accurate data acquired and entered into the core HCM and Payroll systems. Being close to all of our new hires and intimate with the internal processes, it was my goal to continually design efficient processes technically, and memorable experiences for on boarding.
