Responsibilities:• Inventory management. Maintain Item Master & review sourcing rules, including lead times, preferred suppliers, stocking locations and MOQs. Additionally, develop a strategy for Excess and Obsolete items.• Financial Management. Optimize inventory levels in accordance to the targeted financial and accounting metrics.• Supply Chain alignment. • Purchasing. Control material availability in the branches (US & Canada) by entering purchase orders and releasing internal transfers for aluminum and titanium plate, sheet and extrusions, destined for aerospace customers. ($65M/year COGS, 6,000 SKUs). • Demand. Ongoing review of the forecast, for transactional and contractual businesses.Accomplishments:Accomplishments:- Redesigned and optimized the buying process for custom extrusions. Used a combination of Excel macro workbooks (for calculations) and Access databases (for part number cross references and handling extensive sales history information). Most of the data was retrieved using Oracle SQL Developer.- Automated the buying process for aluminum plate & sheet. Created calculators utilizing excel VBA coding. Then used the calculators to obtain data (pricing) that was, afterwards, loaded into Oracle PPM module. Defined a process to maintain pricing in Oracle in a timely manner.- Oracle process for Vendor Consignment programs. Coordinated people in different departments (IT, Supply Chain, Operations, Accounts Payable, Sales) in implementing and executing a brand new process for the company.- Automated process for transferring material. Assisted in automating material to be transferred after a warehouse closure. Used DataLoad software for this purpose.

Coordinated three projects for CNH Industrial, at the Fargo Manufacturing Case IH plant.- ECO Processing and Implementation. In charge of coordinating the implementation in ProPlanner (Process Planning Software) of all running engineering changes for current and future products in construction and agricultural 4WD equipment assembly lines. This involves maintaining Bill of Materials consumption, standard times, standard procedures and line balance updated. Guiding and representing two different teams working overseas for this project.- Improved current product launch. Leading and representing a team in the development of standard operations and manufacturing procedures (SOS/SOP) for the assembly of an updated version of the current 4WD tractors. This includes ensuring 100% Bill of Materials consumption, availability of parts, line balancing, standard time studies and illustrated work instructions utilizing ProPlanner and customer’s MRP system; as well as shop floor verification for two prototype builds.- Manufacturing wastes reduction in welding line. Representing and guiding a team in performing MURI, MURA and MUDA analysis in welding areas for parts of tractors and wheel loaders. The purpose of this project is to reduce ‘non-value adding’ activities, make the process uniform and improve ergonomics.

Executed time studies using the PMTS work measurement techniques MOST and MTM, and developed illustrated work instructions (SOS/SOP) using ProPlanner for market leading customer in agriculture equipment

- Researched liquid metals as possible refrigerants, tritium generators, neutron reproducers and moderators in the fusion process. - Analyzed and minimized the effect of gamma radiation on the corrosion issues on materials in contact with the liquid metal.
