As the Director of Development & Partnerships for Catch Des Moines, I direct the strategy behind our partnership program and lead the team in revenue generation for our private sector funds. I work with our CEO to direct the strategy behind our secured sponsorships with outside entities as well as collaborate with our Sales/Sports team to generate revenue necessary for incoming events to the Greater Des Moines metro.Simultaneously, I am actively cultivating relationships and increasing our private sector funds with the kick-off of our Investment Campaign, speaking with local businesses to invest in the importance of tourism to their employees, the hospitality industry and our community. I actively sell and implement our co-op advertising program with local partners and manage the budget for our marketing department.

Our goal at the Catch Des Moines to market the region as a visitor destination increasing economic growth and enhancing the visitor experience.In my role as Development & Partner Manager, I work with local companies, businesses, corporations to invest in sponsorships and partnerships with Catch Des Moines. I work to secure incremental private sector dollars in support of our organization. I also work within our organization to develop new inventory and build strategic relationships within the community for revenue generation as well as fulfill promises already made to Partners and Sponsors. As a new addition to my role, I am also handling sponsorship fulfillment and sponsorship planning that Catch Des Moines commits to with other organizations. As part of Catch Des Moines, I was a part of the Iowa Caucus Consortium where I was responsible for securing all sponsorship dollars for various events leading up to the Iowa Caucus 2016.
