Every day, with boundless joy, I fulfill my purpose and vocation in education. As the manager of the Finance, Coding, and AI Lab (FIC.{Lab) at USIL, I've helped position Peru as a global benchmark, think tank, and innovation hub for financial education and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria, powered by cutting-edge Bloomberg technology.🚀 Key Achievements:- Coordinated and championed the first Experiential Learning Partnership with Bloomberg for Education in our region.- Collaborated with Bloomberg on the creation of the first university case study published by Bloomberg for Education, available in four languages, including simplified Chinese.- Guided students from diverse majors—over 30 in total—on integrating Bloomberg terminals into their coursework. To date, I've trained thousands of students, with 3,000 already certified in Bloomberg Market Concepts.🌱 Innovation and Impact:- Pioneered novel concepts and educational practices, particularly in the realms of ESG and Data Science across Latin America. Collaborating closely with Bloomberg's data science and BQuant teams, we've set new standards.- Spearheaded the successful accreditation of finance programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels, aligning curricula with emerging fields such as Data Science, ESG, and Ethics.- Orchestrated engaging challenge experiences using Bloomberg technology during international weeks, partnering with organizations like the OECD and IOSCO.
