Jerry Linebaugh is a licensed fiduciary that supervises the production of plans and advice that are in line with his client’s best interest. Jerry is the founder of the Linebaugh Group Inc, which in mid-2009 he led the firm to adopt the DBA name (Doing Business As) of JLine Financial. 13 years later, he led the firm to adopt the new DBA name of Game Changer Wealth to recognize his risk/reward approach for growth using securities management as well as safe money strategies he continues to offer.Jerry has continued to refine the process to show retirement-minded folks how they can plan for successful outcomes that, in part, have protection from heavy market losses during volatile decades. One of the most notable recent downturns occurred between 2000 through 2009 now referenced as the “Lost Decade”. The lost decade saw negative returns for many self-directed investors where the unmanaged S&P 500 finished lower than where it started in the previous 10 years. This event was devastating for so many retirees and pre retires so close to retirement, that did not have strategies in place to reduce market losses to protect their retirement goals and dreams. In 2009, Jerry began to expand the firm’s message into civic organizations, colleges, then more recently on TV and Radio. He has been on a mission through education to ensure people can get the guidance they need to help accomplish several goals. First, to avoid unnecessary risks and unnecessary downturn losses while seeking growth. Second, to have time-tested asset classes that have done well, historically, for income in a variety of market conditions. Third and finally, to enjoy a peaceful retirement no matter what the markets are doing in the short term with long-term tax-free concepts and tax efficiency at least offered during the planning process.Jerry is a member in good standing with the Better Business Bureau, the National Ethics Association, and the Alliance Group, which is a nationwide organization of independent insurance, investment, and estate planning educators and consultants. In early 2019 he founded Game Changer Tax to help his clients receive accurate tax planning advice. Now having both companies under one roof, clients can have state-of-the-art tax planning alongside their wealth management. Jerry’s goal is to get each client into the zero bracket or the lowest bracket possible.
