Over the past ten years, she spent most of her time working in project management and technology enablement, where she gained extensive knowledge and experience in technology consulting and program management. Jen has been delivering enterprise-wide business transformation projects from both an industry and advisory perspective, where she developed a deep knowledge of how an IT solution backed with well-defined business policies/processes can address an organization’s pain points. In addition, her experience in the entrepreneurship community allowed her to design and deliver programs to assist entrepreneurs in turning their ideas into reality.Jen holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management from Saint Mary’s University, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from University of Alberta. She is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).She enjoys creating opportunities for others to develop themselves personally and professionally, therefore, volunteering with Canada Learning Code to make coding education more accessible for every Canadian seems like a great way to spend her spare time. She also volunteers with Halifax Public Libraries as an English Second Language Tutor to help newcomers overcome their language barriers and enjoy their new hometown – Nova Scotia.
