I'm a newbie to the field of dietetics, but that does not mean I haven't been studying and applying nutrition research to my own life and sharing the details with family and friends. How did my passion evolve? Well, it all began with pain, disease, and recovery through nutrition and a really good doctor. Sickness gave birth to my indomitable spirit, which continues to propel me forward into a new adventure as a Registered Dietitian. I am passionate about food, glorious food, and I want to broadcast the message of healthy eating to everyone. If you have not gotten the vibe that I am energetic, then you should know that I love people too. I get energy from helping other people overcome their challenges. I should have a degree in encouragement. My previous job as a Learning Specialist at Allegany College of Maryland was a recipe for helping students love science, hone their study skills, and write stellar reports. I love it when students exceed their own expectations.
