Every student has a story with individual passions, ambitions, and worries. Our goal as educators is to facilitate their development by providing the tools necessary to move their story forward. Whether that's through campus services, understanding community resources, or simply experiencing the roller coaster ride of emotions that comes with establishing and completing an education. My goal has always been to make the student experience as valuable as possible. Currently, I am the Director of Career Development at Davidson-Davie County Community College. In my time at Davidson-Davie, I have lead accreditation teams, evaluated campus services, provided leadership in Orientation, Career Services, Admissions, Financial Aid, and have worked closely with Private, State, and Local service agencies. In addition, I have planned recruitment and marketing strategies for Open Houses, Commencement, and campus publications. I hold a master's degree in Higher Education Administration, with training in Counseling and Student Development. My undergraduate studies focused on Professional Writing and Media Communications.
