I always thought my dream was to be a reliable, broad-based software engineer who knows everything and can resolve any problem. It seemed like an appropriate dream to me, given by mentors and other engineers. After some time I realized that I lost my sparkle and desire to meet my dream, cause... let's be honest, that's kinda impossible goal.It took me 4 years of experience in the IT industry to realize what really drives me. The project and the people. It may seem too obvious for you all, but I like it when I care about the project, about every success and failure, about the people I work with. To participate in developing progress and meet the first user. It feels like growing your kid. I'm glad to have such desire to work (except for money, for some reason we are not used to talk about them while literally selling ourselves in LinkedIn profile descriptions).
