Joshua is a veteran greenfield energy developer who works collaboratively with governments, municipalities, First Nations, utilities and investors to build critical infrastructure for civic renewal and sustainable development. Joshua is passionate about creating cleaner, stronger, more inclusive and more resilient communities, with a particular interest helping municipalities and First Nations reduce their reliance on carbon-intensive electricity and heating. Joshua has a proven track record originating investment in new, revenue-generating energy projects where significant economic and environmental benefits accrue to local residents and businesses. Before becoming founding partner of Northeast Midstream LP in 2013, Joshua was Vice-President of Strategy and Business Development for Atlantic Hydrogen Inc., a clean energy firm held by Emera Inc., and a technology transfer manager at the University of New Brunswick, where he forged strategic alliances with large energy players, governments and academic institutions. Joshua is an award-winning entrepreneur and writer, who looks forward to finally completing his PhD dissertation in field of science and technology studies.
