nuTravel was rebranded as Traverse Technologies in August 2023

 Designed and implemented a content management Web site that dynamically changes its content depending on the user segmentation and date of visit. The main features of the site include search, email sender, administration page, and user account update. Coded in Java, Spring, Lucene, Hibernate, Struts and JQuery.  Designed and implemented several Web sites that connects to a Web service for insert, retrieval and update of data. The site implements strict front end and backend validation to prevent injection attacks. The design ensured flexibility to work with remote and local backend through configuration change only. Coded in JSP, Spring, SOAP, Struts and JQuery.  Successfully led an effort to improve client satisfaction by developing tools to improve system stability and monitoring. Software developed includes HTML code checker for URL in emails, Web page plug-in for log browsing/configuration and Web page plug-in for dynamic server variable configuration in production environment. Coded in Java, Log4J, and JSP. Developed a prototype for a patient appointment reminder system for iPhone. The application connects to a Web service for saving and retrieval of data using JSON format. Coded using Titanium Studio, Java and Spring. Successfully led an effort to convert an MVC1 Web application to n-tier system using design patterns. The system is re-designed by identifying reusable components and encapsulating business logic methods. Test cases were applied in the Business logic and data access layer to test functions using JUnit. Designed and implemented a marketing Web site that allows user to register, send emails, update preferences, re-profile, and delete account. The site connects to the client’s .Net library for business logic and database access. Responsible also for adding additional features to the client library. Coded in C# .Net..
