Responsible for creating and developing Technology Review's journalism in audio form. Develop and host a new podcast series on artificial intelligence. Identify opportunities for audio series and live journalism events. Speak and moderate onstage at conferences and live events.

Creator and host of the first three seasons of WSJ’s The Future of Everything which won a number of awards, including a Webby. Filed text stories on AI and robotics, helped plan and moderate The Future of Everything Festival, and created the newsroom’s first longform audio team from 2017-2019. Returned to The Wall Street Journal as an anchor and producer for What's News and other podcasts on a contract basis. Covered the 2016 election cycle and a weekly review of economic data with our political and economic teams in Washington. Covered breaking business and tech news by partnering with reporters and editors in over a dozen WSJ bureaus.

Filed news reports and features of all types—live two-ways, explainers, spots, newscasts, super features, narration-free audio postcards, and more—for news outlets in the U.S. and abroad. Anchored news and tech podcasts on contract for The Wall Street Journal in New York (2016-2017) and future of journalism themed podcasts for The National Press Club in Washington, DC (2014-2016). Groups I filed stories for included The World, Marketplace, Metro Connection, Early Edition, NPR Newscast, and the PRI foreign affairs documentary group America Abroad. I continued to file for NPR station WAMU in Washington, DC after leaving the staff until 2017. I served as a member of The National Press Club's Broadcast Committee and of The New York Press Club. Created newscasts for major market stations, satellite, and digital broadcasts, initially on a contract basis, then as a dedicated daily anchor. Responsible for the Tech Briefing Podcast as well as daily technology-themed newscasts for XM Satellite Radio, and multiple daily reports and two-ways for commercial radio stations. Filed reports and served as backup anchor for the network newscasts The Dow Jones Money Report and The Wall Street Journal Report, and for stations WCBS-New York and KABC-Los Angeles. Served as backup newscaster for the syndicated morning show The Wall Street Journal This Morning.

Filed reports for the BBC and NPR. Trained and filled-in as an associate producer/director of live network newscasts for NPR after November 2005. Field produced (gathered audio, performed interviews and/or tape syncs) for freelance clients including NPR, Public Radio International, and major market public radio stations. Directed weekly syndicated program Interfaith Voices.

For NPR's nationally-syndicated weekly business and investment program, wrote interviews and other show copy; crafted business news summary; booked and pre-interviewed guests consisting primarily of Fortune 500 CEOs, economists, newsmakers and authors. Edited audio (Cool Edit Pro, Adobe Audition and Sound Forge); booked and coordinated studio time for ISDN connections, tape syncs and other field audio. Responsible for managing relationships with more than 100 NPR stations. Shared lead producer's role during his leave of absence (June 2004 - November 2004) which was responsible for the content, vision, and direction of the show, including positioning of the program during a hosting and format change.

Produced and anchored hourly newscasts during drive-time air shift; reel-to-reel production work. Classical and jazz disc jockey in between newscasts.

Fill-in announcer and DJ during summer breaks and as needed. Tasks included hosting local musicians and live call-in programming. Filed live radio reports as a student covering local schools.
