Planning, controlling and managing global mould production. Ensuring that production of high quality moulds is cost efficient and global supply chain is capable to deliver high quality with low cost. Coordinating logistics of global supply chain. Contacting global customers and offering them spare parts, moulds and services.Working as a part of management and strategy team. Responsible for introduction and setting up the global production and project management digital software platform. Controlling and managing factory capacity to meet sales activities. Developing manufacturing procedures and solving problems to manufacture high quality moulds. Supervising and motivating a team of workers in Finland, India and Romania. Recruiting new workers. Identifying training needs of workers and creating capabilities matrix.

Working as a foreman for ten workers at injection molding production and mold manufacturing plant. Daily work included wide range of different kind of tasks, e.g. communicating with subcontractors and suppliers, planning and controlling production, fulfilling quality requirements of products and engineering injection molds. In addition to daily tasks, contributing several developing actions, e.g. applied Lean production and 5S -methodologies. Development actions have had a positive effect to company’s turnover and profit.

Work tasks included e.g. production planning and control, executing factory development and investment projects, customer service, deputizing for full-time supervisors, handling on-time deliveries, purchasing materials, maintaining factory and developing occupational safety.

The development of key performance indicators for concrete products industry was set as the main goal of the thesis. Problem was solved by developing a semi-automatic dashboard for concrete products factory. KPIs development project was a part of ERP implementation project.

Main responsibilities were arranging factory and stockyard, painting occupational safety markings and helping concrete pile production. Also deputizing concrete miller on summer time.
