I am a Primary school teacher in Southwark, London. Prior to turning my career in a new direction, for over seven years I supported universities to become more inclusive establishments through the Athena Swan Charter programme. I continue assisting universities and research institutes to address under-representation and marginalisation, through my consultancy services.I believe that everyone should be enabled to succeed, and that targeted action facilitates this. Ensuring that this is undertaken has been the core tenet of my career, and as a teacher I focus on providing direct support.
