Doing business in Africa is exciting! And challenging. Living for nine years in Ethiopia has taught me the complexity of life abroad. Facing the challenge of cultural gaps, disruptive environments and FDI specific issues made our time in Ethiopia to a rich experience. General management, negotiation, business development, operations management and coaching are a few of the business aspects which I love to involve in.But the most beautiful role to have is to be a 'bridge-builder'. It is my drive to connect, bridge (cultural) gaps and link people. I do this *well-intentioned: realizing that my actions may not always have the desired effect. Nevertheless, there is nothing greater then be of help in restoring bits and pieces in this broken world!
