I am a Design Engineer at Boeing, supporting the production of commercial planes.I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University.I have prior engineering experience at a global vibration test equipment manufacturer, where I helped develop hydraulic-powered vibration test machines. These machines are mainly used in the aerospace, automotive, packaging, and defense industries. My educational experience revolved mostly around automation, robotics, and software development. I have multiple projects where I developed software for self-navigating wheeled mobile robots, human-controlled drones, and video games.

Design EngineerTeam Corporation Aug 2018 - Sep 2021Burlington, Washington, UsTeam Corporation design, manufacture, and ship high-performance vibration test machines. I support the entire design process of these machines, from early meeting with customers to troubleshooting the final product in the shop.Below are tasks that I am responsible for at Team Corporation • Participate in PDR and CDR and answer any design questions from customers.• Develop CAD models and engineering drawings.• Perform engineering analysis to ensure our product meets customer requirements.• Force calculation by hand and FEA simulation in Autodesk Inventor.• Kinematic simulation and analysis in Autodesk Inventor.• Select motor starters, overload relays, transformers, and other hardware components to integrate into our design.• Solve product testing issues. Tune analog feedback controllers and analyze frequency response data.• Designed slip tables based on customer specifications. See the attached video on a slip table where I worked as the main design engineer. -
Mechatronics Capstone ProjectUniversity Of Washington Sep 2017 - Jun 2018Seattle, Wa, UsThe purpose of this project was to develop a proof of concept for an aircraft stand mover. The stand mover prototype is to demonstrate the possibility of automating the docking process of aircraft stands. In testing the prototype, a point on a wall was used to represent the door of an aircraft. A skid-steer drive system was used for driving the mover, an aluminum frame for representing the stand, a Pixy camera for sensing, and NI MyRIO for control and navigation. The drive system and the aluminum frame were designed to resemble the dynamics of stand movers used in the aerospace industry.Below are the tasks I worked on during the project.• Determined the functional requirement of the system.• Developed the kinematics model for the system.• Developed MATLAB/Simulink code for simulating the kinematics of the system.• Determined the PID controller parameter using Simulink simulation and physical testing.• Testing, troubleshooting, and documentation. -
Quadcopter Capstone ProjectEverett Community College Jan 2016 - Dec 2016Everett, Wa, UsThe goal of this project was to develop a human-controlled quadcopter. Arduino Uno microcontroller was used for computations, sensor reading, and actuator control. An IMU with 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope was used for sensing orientation. Brushless motors and propellers were used for generating lift. An RC controller was used as the human interface controller.Below are the tasks I worked on during the project.• Determined the functional requirement of the quadcopter system.• Created a 3D model of the quadcopter assembly. • Developed the dynamic model and feedback control system for the quadcopter along with MATLAB/Simulink model.• Determined the PID controller parameter needed for stable flight.• Selected the hardware that meets the functional requirements. • Developed the Arduino code for interfacing with sensors/actuators, and the code for PID computations.• Implemented the electrical and mechanical design.• Testing and troubleshooting the quadcopter prototype.
