I am passionate about creating new products and seeing ideas come to life. One of my favorite things is to see a idea go from a thought to a finished product. My goal in my professional career is to continue to learn and grow and using my skills to make a positive impact on the world.I have 5+ years of experience in the aviation industry. At Textron Aviation as a tool designer my job is to provide solutions to build aircraft parts using multiple different manufacturing methods. This includes polymer composites, additive manufacturing, 5-axis machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and more. On a daily basis I use computer aided design to create new and innovative tools using CATIA. Currently, aside from Textron Aviation I am a co-owner of a small business that is dedicated to providing products and services to customers as well as developing new products that we design. We currently have the capability to CNC machine small parts as well as manufacture small batch composite parts. Through this experience I am able to leverage my skills gaining first hand knowledge of designing products, CNC programming parts, operating a CNC machine, and delivering results.At NIAR as a intern my job was to assist with the setup and execution of multiple static and fatigue tests on test articles and full scale aircraft. With this experienced I learned the essentials for testing as well as different material properties and aircraft construction.
