Still, it is just as difficult as it was when he started in 2011. Boston MA. J Lyrix started writing in middle school at the age of 12 and was first known by the name, J Killa. That's until he realized he was not a killer and created a name that was more radio friendly. Free-styling is and always has been something he enjoyed doing. People always loved his music for his raw voice, lyrical content and catchy choruses. He grew up loving a lot of the hip hop artist during the early 2000's. Mainly artist such as Jay-Z, 50 cent, French Montana, Young Jeezy, Rick ross, Lil wayne and so on. In 2012, J Lyrix and a couple of members in his circle decided to make a music group by the name of Team High Campaign (THC). They went on for a couple of years splurging the internet with new music after new music till they couldn't get enough of him. Several people known throughout the music world started seeing and following. One of them ended up being a major artist by the name of Jaheim, an R&B singer.Jaheim then offered him a contract to his independent label known as Julies Dream Music Group in 2014 in which J Lyrix signed not too long after it was offered. After 5 years of touring, recording and performing with Jaheim for most of the country, he decided to part ways with the label and take a different route. Now he is grinding as hard as ever to to promote an enormous catalog worth of music to his fan base. Stay tuned...
