The project involves the upgrade of an existing refinery to run solely on renewable feed stock. All units of the plant are being inspected, upgraded and commissioned per project designs. The legacy DCS is being changed to a modern ABB design which includes an operator training facility. "Commissioning engineer and DCS Conversion Site Lead" are complimentary roles. In both cases the responsibility is to help manage and coordinate the activities that enable a safe and effective startup of the facility. The commissioning team is a cross discipline group of field technicians and leads utilizing our RFO completions system. The commissioning engineer is responsible for working with the discipline teams to ensure the systems are safely delivered technically accurate and with the required functionality. The DCS Conversion Site Lead works directly with the project team and all site vendors executing the DCS installation and startup scope. The role is responsible for the safe delivery of this scope per project technical and schedule requirements.

Duties included planning, logistics and continuous coordination with the offshore teams and onshore engineering.
