block3 was a creative development studio that helped businesses explore and demonstrate the 'here and now' value of blockchain technologies. Our achievements;-Winner of a Highly Commended IET award for our contribution to the Airchain project, a collaboration with Heathrow and Gatwick Airports exploring the potential for Blockchain technology for the Aviation Industry. -We built one of the worlds first 'proof-of-stake' validator operations, which was running for over 6 months on the Cosmos Network testnet, and consistently placed within the top 10 of all network validators for reliability and uptime. We participated and ranking highly in the pre-mainnet 'Game of Stakes', a first of its kind incentivized testnet for a distributed network.-We started the "Blockchain Nottingham" community meetup group in late 2016 which became the UK's largest community of Blockchain enthusiasts outside of London with well over 1000 members. Guest speakers from CEOs from companies including Coinbase, Everledger and PowerLedger. -Advised a team from Maersk to hackathon victory.
