blackbocks was a software company designed to meet the needs of small and medium business enterprise verticals by offering revolutionary, at the time, web based software applications, now referred to as; Software as a Service (SAS) or Cloud Computing, using Web 2.0 enabled on-demand software, and Linux platform commonly referred to as LAMP/AJAX, Ruby on Rails, SOAP and JAVA used to build on-demand customized software that customers would pay for utilizing a subscription based model. Successfully presented this concept to Angel venture capital groups, raised $150K and invested over $250K into the inception and customer roll-out of this rapid software development web 2.0 model. A great deal of leadership and life lessons were learned from this venture.
