Jesus Mantas is the IBM Senior Managing Partner responsible for Global Strategy, Innovation and Corporate Development of IBM Global Business Services (GBS), a $17B unit of IBM. Prior to his current role, in the last ten years Jesus has been at the helm of IBM Business Consulting, IBM Global Process Services (BPO), and Global Business Services in Latin America. Prior to IBM, he was a Partner in the High Technology practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers.In addition to his IBM duties, Jesus serves on the Board of Directors of Biogen Inc (BIIB), the world leader in neuroscience; he also serves on the Global AI Council of the World Economic Forum Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.He has been recognized for his leadership by Great Minds in STEM, and awarded Top 100 Hispanic Executives in Technology and Top 25 Global Consulting leaders by Consulting magazine.Jesus has a master’s degree in Telecommunications and Software Engineering, a Business Administration degree from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Spain and served as an officer in the Spanish Air Force.

Jesus Mantas is the Managing Partner and General Manager of IBM Business Consulting in IBM. He is responsible for Digital, Cognitive, Analytics, Cloud Business Solutions, Enterprise Applications, Alliances and Global Process Services in IBM Global Business Services.

Responsible for IBM Global Process Services business globally. It includes services of transformation, process outsourcing, analytics and cloud business solutions in the areas of Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR, Learning, Recruiting, Marketing, Mortgage and Financial Services. These solutions leverage platforms, innovation, deep technology and superior talent to significantly improve business performance and deliver outcomes at improved cost levels for our clients in 172 countries.

Lead IBM Global Business Services business in Brazil, Mexico and Spanish South America. Grew the business for 17 consecutive quarters, made a new market with 2 billion dollar client engagements that reshaped the consulting market, and led to growth of over 100% of consulting, application and process management business in Latin America. He held full responsibility for Strategy, P/L, Talent, Clients and Operations. During his tenure Lating America reached it's highest growth and profit, and led to elevating the unit to direct report to IBM SVP.
