He has been instrumental in the development of Internet/Web-Based Management Information Systems for BMA, including the Integrated Property Management System (IPMS)®, the Brownfield Online Connexion (BOX)™ and the Risk Online Connexion (ROX)™. Jon’s extensive background in brownfield management and information management systems allows him to be an instrumental part in designing and implementing integrated solutions for BMA’s clients.

As a valuable member of the BP team, Jon held the position of Regulatory Compliance Advisor as an Environmental Manager and successfully assumed responsibility for establishing environmental and regulatory programs that were necessary to ensure BP’s retail facilities’ Underground Storage Tank (“UST”) compliance. Specifically, Jon worked as the Environmental Management Services (“EMS”) program manager, prevention/assurance team member, and a mentor for BP’s trainers in the environmental awareness programs established and modified under Jon’s management and direction. In conjunction with his position, Jon developed the Audit Program for Environmental Compliance (APEC), a comprehensive audit program that not only identifies risk and potential site equipment deficiencies, but also facilitates the flow of this information amongst various channels within BP’s retail network thereby ensuring full compliance with all identified regulatory agencies.One of three EMS managers, Jon created and defined a workable framework for a national EMS program. This forward thinking program is designed to reduce BP’s retail facilities’ environmental liabilities. As such, it contemplates educating and empowering all members of the BP community by providing them with various resources needed to maintain environmental regulatory compliance. Similarly, Jon played a key role in local facilities’ management by advising on such matters as the recovery of tens of thousands of dollars in warranty claims to the effective project management of equipment repair and maintenance.As a member of the Central Retail Business Unit’s prevention/assurance team, Jon actively participated in discussions regarding various environmental prevention/assurance issues. As a founding member of this team, Jon interfaced with other members working to devise safeguards that would minimize, if not alleviate, future environmentally hazardous situations.
