About James Marley
I've been involved in Adult Mental Health with a focus on adults with schizophrenia and their families for the past 35+ years. My research, writing, and teaching cover mental health, family therapy, and ethics. Currently involved in developing trainings and supports for clinicians working in the Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention (TVTP) space at the state and national levels. Outside of my teaching and work at Loyola University Chicago, I can be found giving workshops and trainings on mental health related issues as well as ethics. I frequently serve as an expert witness in cases involving social work malpractice, incompetence, and wrongful death allegations.
