Coordinated the efforts of four Mayoral departments for the Welcome Home Project to provide essential supplies to people formerly experiencing homelessness as they moved into permanent supportive housing.Organized and produced the inaugural Clean Streets LA Challenge, a City-wide program to encourage Neighborhood Councils and local community groups to execute innovative cleanup plans and earn grants.Delivered presentations with L.A. Sanitation on maximizing City resources, training constituents how to conduct safe, effective cleanups, and assisting with grant applications.Oversaw the Volunteer Corps, the service arm of the Office of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. The Mayor's Volunteer Corps connects people with meaningful volunteer opportunities that support Mayor Garcetti’s objectives to revitalize Los Angeles, strengthen neighborhoods, improve the workforce, and inspire civic pride in all Angelenos—resulting in real, measurable, long-term change for the residents of Los Angeles. Worked collaboratively to grow the Corps, creating more opportunities for service in Los Angeles. Focus areas are Veterans, Ending Homelessness, Sustainability, Immigration & Citizenship, and Clean Streets LA.
