•Assure accuracy and completion of all work orders assigned to the Avionics Department•Ensure personnel are adequately trained and competent to perform assigned duties•Coordinate and supervise activities of personnel, determining and directing specific work assignments•Identify issues, analyze and interpret data, and develop innovative solutions to a variety of complex problems

•Inspect all work and comply with the required quality assurance inspections during all maintenance actions performed by their production work center•Perform mandatory quality assurance inspections as specified in maintenance technical manuals, technical directives , and other directives•Perform inspections of maintenance equipment and facilities to verify compliance with fire and safety regulations, to include verifying that workspace environmental conditions are satisfactory, work center equipment is maintained in a safe operating condition, and equipment operator qualifications and licensing are being followed

•Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies, using circuit testers, multi-meters, or voltmeters•Keep records of maintenance and repair work•Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies, using hand tools or soldering irons•Lay out installation of aircraft assemblies and systems, following documentation such as blueprints, manuals, and wiring diagrams•Interpret flight test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance problems
