Hello! I am a recent graduate from University of Arizona's Microbiology program. I'm looking forward to applying my knowledge and experience in a meaningful way. During my senior year, I had the opportunity to work in an academic research lab. I was so excited to be able to use what I had been taught thus far and to get real experience in a purpose driven lab. While there, I worked with other staff and faculty to fine tune procedure for better results and continued autonomously to isolate needed mutant strains. My program was based in pathogens, their vectors, immune response and mutation. This education has given me a strong curiosity and appreciation for cellular interaction across life forms and environment.I am eager to find opportunities to learn, progress and succeed!
