About Matt Lucas

Self-starting PhD engineer conversant across a wide range of climate and energy verticals who followed my passion for scaling-up technology and impact into building climate-positive infrastructure and project finance. We need to mobilize gigadollars to manage gigatons. My most recent positions have focused on bringing both my technical background and commercial experience--finding product market fit, high value sales, and structured finance--to enable project finance for emerging technologies, though that skillset applies equally to mature technology verticals. My consulting (mostly not included for confidentiality) includes buy-side advising to large corporations and asset managers as well as startups in the energy infrastructure space.
