Located in Old Town Alexandria, Election CFO is a campaign finance compliance firm that assists political campaigns, political action committees, and nonprofit organizations with holistic treasurer services. As an Associate, I provided comprehensive campaign finance compliance for 30 political campaigns, political action committees, and nonprofit clients. My job duties included, but were not limited to, drafting compliance letters, financial data entry, donation processing, and the filing of end of quarter reports with the FEC. The Bonner Leader Program is a service oriented, student led group that is dedicated to advocating for historically marginalized communities. The role of the Senior Intern is to assist in the program management of High Point University’s Bonner Leader Program. Among the many responsibilities that go with this role, I served on the Bonner Advisory Board and the High Point University Service Learning Committee, planned and facilitated group meetings of 40-50 student leaders, and coordinated the volunteer efforts of 40-50 individuals in the city of High Point.

The Peer Mentor Program at High Point University is committed to making the transition from high school to college as seamless as possible. As a Peer Mentor at High Point University, I engaged incoming freshman and created an environment in which all incoming students could excel. Some of the responsibilities of being a Peer Mentor included mentoring students, guiding them through their first week on campus, and ensuring they have a safe place in the need of emotional emergencies.

Being a Bonner Leader at High Point University, I learned valuable skills and gained life experiences that are essential for young professionals to excel. The HPU Bonner Program gave me the valuable opportunity to provide service to the community. As a Bonner Leader, I am required to participate in 10-15 service hours per week within the community while maintaining 18 credit hours and a 3.0 gpa. I spent this time at West End Ministries, a food bank located in the West End community of High Point. My duties included, but were not limited to, stocking the pantry, processing donations, and working directly with those affected by food insecurity.

The Piedmont Triad Region consists of schools in the areas of Guilford, Alamance, Davidson, and Rowan counties and includes some of the most active chapters in the NCFCR Organization. Political Data indicates that the Piedmont Triad Area will be the scene of some of the most competitive precincts for National, State, and Local races. Republican turnout in this region is vital to elect Republicans, build a Conservative Majority Council of State, and to retain a majority in the North Carolina State House and State Senate. As the Regional Director, I directly managed five university chapters, coordinated volunteer efforts through the region, and worked with elected officials, student organizations, and party leadership to grow the presence of Republicans on college campuses.

As a Program Intern for the Republican National Convention, I worked directly with the Program Director to ensure that the primetime programming, speaker lineup, and messaging were ready for television. I was able to work alongside the Trump Campaign, Republican National Committee, and the White House to ensure that all requested speakers would have the opportunity to speak and share their vision for America. I was also able to participate in professional vetting for volunteers, work with the Official Proceedings department in creating the script used by the Chairwoman of the Republican Party and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

The High Point University College Republicans represent the vast majority of students at High Point University. As the Chairman, I was tasked with planning meetings and events and ensuring weekly operations are running smoothly. I delegated tasks among 8 members of the executive board, and was responsible for ensuring their directives were executed in an efficient manner. The main duty of this organization is to provide a channel for civically engaged students and connect students to political campaigns in the surrounding area. Under my tenure, our organization grew our social media presence by 400% and grew our active membership by 200% through comprehensive marketing and outreach.

The 11th Congressional District of North Carolina represents the rural western mountain counties of North Carolina. As a congressional intern, I was the immediate face of the office as I worked directly with constituents surrounding a multitude of different objectives. My job duties included, but were not limited to, answering telephone calls, writing letters to constituents, completing constituent casework, and working directly with the congressman and his staff to ensure he can fully carry out his job duties.

West End Ministries is a comprehensive nonprofit organization that provides emergency aid to residents of the West End community in High Point. As the Director of Volunteer Services, I was responsible for maintaining volunteers, enhancing volunteer engagement, gathering data, coordinating 100+ weekly volunteers, and maintaining relationships with partner organizations in the High Point community. As the Assistant Director of Pantry Services, I was responsible for working with the Director of Pantry Services, Program Director, and Executive Director to ensure the mission of West End Ministries was carried out in a responsible and efficient manner.

The Rural Heritage Museum at Mars Hill University provides a unique look at rural life in the Appalachian Mountains. The Curatorial Assistant at the Rural Heritage Museum is responsible for generating a museum environment that is welcoming, professional, and respectful to the artifacts in the exhibits. This job included welcoming guests, answering telephones, writing and editing grants, and assisting with the acquisition of documents for the museum's permanent collection of Appalachian artifacts.
