I am a graduate of the University of Saint Augustine's Occupational Therapy Doctoral program, currently residing in northeast Georgia and working in acute care. During my doctoral studies, I developed a keen interest in the expansion of non-traditional, and emerging practice areas. In my clinical experiences, I became further interested in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and injury prevention. Drawing from both interests previously mentioned, I completed a doctoral capstone project in December 2020 which surrounded musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) prevention for professional drivers. I presently have a developing interest in preventative health & wellness, wellness consultation, perinatal & maternal care, occupational therapy entrepreneurship, and occupational therapy impacts on hospital readmission rates. I believe in the true eclecticism of occupational therapy and I am seeking mentorship and employment opportunities that would guide me in expanding the profession.
