Researcher within the TV White Spaces (TVWS) Platform in Colombia, project for the Agencia Nacional del Espectro (ANE - National Spectrum Agency). My duties included the development of calculation and mapping tools using Python and MATLAB, analysis of national and international regulation to work on an influence area calculation model for TVWS devices considering existing ITU propagation models, training for the platform users, making of instruction manuals, quality check, functional testing and making, review and approval of use cases.The platform use forecast has determined an increase by at least 50% in the amount of channels used within the TV frequency band depending on the location.

The tasks included coding, measurements and captures in different wireless environments for a subsequent evaluation with focus on the automotive sector.The analysis of the aggregation feature introduced in the IEEE 802.11 protocol reduced the amount of data, thus, the time to plot critical information regarding the analysed captures by about 60%
