Provide oversight of contracted aircraft maintenance IAW DCMA guidance.

As the Flight Safety Superintendent I was responsible for the flight safety of five squadrons and three Groups. 20+ aircraft valued at $4Bn. As well as working with 23 different Government agencies who used the JB Andrews airfield. I was also trained as a qualified aircraft mishap investigator, responsible for coordinating response and scene preservation of any mishap involving aircraft damage or injury to personnel.

I have worked on various aircraft including KC-135, E-3A/B, B-1B, B-52 , and the 757 and 747-200. On the KC-135 I have worked flightline mx as a Hydraulic Journeyman Technician and a flying crew chief at McConnell AFB Ks. I worked depot and line mx at Tinker AFB. While there I was an Aircraft Battle Damage Repair Assessor, Team Chief and field level depot repair craftsman. I worked all aspects of the KC-135R, B-1B, B-52H, E-3B, NASA Super Guppy. To include skin repair and replacement, landing gear overhaul, rigging and replacement, engine overhaul, boom build up, flight control and surface removal and installation. I also have experience in depot working the B-1 and B-52 bomber as a field level technician. I worked flightline mx on the E-3 AWACS as a Hydraulics Systems Craftsman. I have worked the C-32(757) and VC-25 (747) for Special Air Missions where I was a Flying Crew Chief and Shop Chief. In that role J learned time management, effective troubleshooting techniques, and how the build and develop team concepts to achieve an effective no-fail mission. Currently I am working as a program manager overseeing contract maintenance compliance and budget analysis, learning acquisition and contract architecture.

Retired from the Air Force, rejoined the Air Force as a DOD civilian

Responsible for a Five man shop that provides safe and reliable maintenance on the 757-200 (C-32) aircraft.
