Coordinate the definition of ITU strategy in the areas of sustainability, digital inclusion and innovation, managing the implementation of specific projects, initiatives and events across the organization, mobilizing partnerships and designing advocacy campaigns on the role of ICTs for sustainable development.Main duties:- Coordinate within ITU, inter-sectoral activities in environmental sustainability, climate change, digital inclusion and innovation. - Manage and coordinate the organization of ITU-wide high-level strategic events, initiatives and reports related with the areas previously mentioned. This task includes liaising with high-level experts and senior officials and overseeing the preparation and publication of the outcomes and summaries of these activities. - Coordinate the participation of ITU in external activities related with the areas previously mentioned, handling the relationship between ITU and the UN system, industry, public sector organizations, academia and other relevant international organizations. This task includes representing ITU in high-level events, preparing content, contributions and presentations for these events and ensuring a harmonized ITU-wide strategy in these activities.- Plan and coordinate the preparation of reports and proposals to be presented to official ITU meetings, such as ITU Council, World Conferences and the Plenipotentiary Conference.- Supervise short-term staff assigned to inter-sectoral activities in the Corporate Strategy Division. - Provide strategic and technical advice to ITU senior management, in particular in areas such as strategic planning and new policy and technological trends in the ICT sector.

This activity includes producing content and coordinating the elaboration of further research to produce new publications for areas of strategic interest for ITU.- Produce strategies, work-plans and other management tools to facilitate an efficient inter-sectoral coordination and provide advice to senior management of ITU, as well as to other divisions of the organization.

Provide strategic advice to ITU senior management, with the objective of producing forward-looking strategies to adapt the Union to the fast evolving ICT global environment, with a view to ensuring that the organization meets the objectives defined by its 194 member states and 700 private sector members.
