I am a Principle Planner for the Houston-Galveston Area Council. I serve as a project manager for a variety of watershed, water quality, water and wastewater infrastructure, urban forestry, flood resilience and other environmental management projects. I lead project teams in all aspects of project development and implementation including grant/resource development, stakeholder facilitation, technical modeling and data assessment, partner and vendor relationship management, budget management, water quality monitoring effort management, quality assurance plan development, document design and preparation, and other project specific tasks. Examples of typical projects include Watershed Protection Plans, TMDL Implementation Plans, Water Quality Management Plans, etc. Many of our competitive grant projects are in excess of a million dollars. Our general project area is the 13 county Upper Gulf Coast planning area, including the Houston and Galveston metropolitan areas and the tributaries and estuaries of the Galveston Bay system.

As the Water Resources Manager I worked on a variety of projects including water conservation, long range water supply planning, legislative analysis, water quality issues, water supply contract management, divisional budget analysis, source water protection, public relations, event management, fostering inter-agency relationships by serving as a liasion to external water organizations, and general GIS and document preparation support for a variety of briefings for elected officials.

Worked on a variety of watershed management and local urban planning projects, ranging from the Source Water Assessment and Protection Program for Delaware's surface water sources to collaborating on the design and establishment of the University of Delaware Experimental Watershed. Routinely worked to support local and state officials on water planning projects, analyzing data, preparing documents, and related GIS work.

Fellowship position with New Castle County Council, working on redistricting councilmatic districts for northern Delaware.

Designed and implemented a summer series of environmental curricula for elementary aged children. Also helped managed the environmental steward program for middle school-aged children.

Provided quality assurance, data management, and employee review for a 500+ person call center. Also served as a technical services operator for a range of security systems, providing public relations and troubleshooting expertise.
