Championed Officer and NCO professional development across the Battalion, resulting in the highest attendance rate for NCOES/OES in the Brigade and mentored 12 Soldiers to enter commissioning programs this year. o Worked with the State Aviation Officer and the FAA, to receive approval to conduct UAV training flights in controlled civilian airspace at the Havana Regional Airport saving the ILARNG approximately $170,000 per year in travel costs. o Aggressively addressed property accountability reducing $4.8 million in excess property and closed out multiple FLIPL investigations, correcting lingering property book issues resulting from past operational deployments supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
