Design/Bid/Build Construction of a 120,000 SF - $132 Million - 2 Bay Hangar and associated site features and infrastructure at Ellsworth AFB, SD as well as the demolition of existing hangar and surrounding structures to include new AGE Fuel Island. Structure is to be composed of exterior masonry and steel framing with interior steel framing and shallow concrete foundations. With an interior and exterior multi segmented plenum hangar door and finished back of house support areas. On site concrete paving batch plant for the exterior airfield paving.

Design/Bid/Build Constructing a two bay $124+Million / 130,000 SF - KC-46A maintenance depot hangar in partnership with the US Army Corps of Engineers for the US Air Force. The structure consist of structural steel on deep foundations with masonry and metal panel exterior. The maintenance bays each consist of six telescopic movable platforms with hoisting capabilities. The large hangar doors are constructed to act as a conditioned air plenum as the bays also serves as a paint booths for the Boeing 767 sized aircraft. The bays are serviced by a central energy plant constructed adjacent the hangar to serve this and multiple future hangar bay. The central energy plant housed 24" fire water line supply pumps, chillers/cooling towers, heating water boilers, process hot water boilers as well as the breathing air and compressed air compressors. The hangars are serviced by a support center with offices, restrooms, lockers, showers, and FEMA storm shelter located between the hangar bays to serve the employees that operate the maintenance depot.

Managed reinforcing steel contract and deliveries. Controlled formwork rental. Controlled equipment rental and invoicing. Managed and tracked costs for equipment rental and material purchases. Managed equipment maintenance. Managed warranty and closeout while completing & managing $4 million in owner change orders. Managed estimation, change order negotiations, schedule, and completion of 70,000SF of Airport Terminal and airline office buildout as an assistant superintendent. Change order estimating of $2 million+ of which included portions of self performed work that required detailed costs break downs of the activities. Created and implemented new strategies to increase self performed production on concrete formwork to ensure that the activities would beat the estimated budget. Managed the completion of the underground jet fueling system. With regard to the cathodic protection, fuel valve controls, and the replacement of surge tanks on the surge suppression system.
