I am an experienced Insurance Account Manager with a specialization in employee benefits, backed by a strong educational and professional foundation in health, wellness, and insurance. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies from Monmouth University in 2015 and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Felician University in December 2018.Currently, I work at a brokerage managing both public and private sector clients of varying sizes. I oversee medical, prescription, dental, vision, and voluntary benefit coverages. Additionally, I am involved with the Metropolitan Health Insurance Fund, catering to large public-sector entities in Northern New Jersey, where I handle data aggregation for new entities and provide ongoing support for existing ones.Before joining my current brokerage, I was employed by a national broker where I managed small, private-sector accounts. My responsibilities included overseeing the full renewal process—marketing, presenting results, and managing open enrollment—while also addressing escalated issues that occurred from time. I managed a team of two account specialists that would handle the day-to-day inquiries, but was always there to jump in and assist them. I have conducted numerous open enrollment meetings, consistently delivering information in a clear and engaging manner.I am very interested in the wellness aspect of healthcare. Fitness and overall well-being are two of my passions, and I enjoy being able to tie them into benefits. From previously working at a gym and as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor, to working as a physical therapy aide and now in the benefits world, I have a well-rounded approach to wellness and see how benefits can be affected by a wellness program or lack thereof.
