Major accomplishments included the installation of an a new job costing system & revamped accounting controls and procedures, including purchasing, which improved profitability via cost control, improved margins and increased revenues. These changes also improved the quality and timeliness of managements reporting, essential to both day-to-day and strategic management of this company. Improved free cash flows to the extent company was able to internally finance a greater share of the cost of machine building contracts with considerable reductions in interest expense.
