Develop factual and medical evidence as well as conflicting statements and/or allegations. Make determinations for cases involving highly controversial medical and factual issues• Identify candidates for rehabilitation services and work alongside the rehabilitation specialist in an effort to return claimants to gainful employment within 30 months with a 99.6% rate of effectiveness. Procure limited duty job offers for claimants unable to return to their date of injury position through agency outreach and suitability reviews with outside employers• Review and authorize contracts for medical supplies and/or nursing facilities with an emphasis on maximum gain for the claimant with the minimal cost incurred by the Office of Workers’ Compensation• Recognized by the Branch of Hearings and Review/Employees’ Compensation Appeals Board for accuracy and affirmation of decisions and determinations• Audit claims for fraudulent activity including but not limited to the failure to disclose reportable employment or income, falsifying or reporting fraudulent medical information, or claiming to be injured or disabled when in fact no disability exists• Provide Customer service to congressmen and women, injured workers, legal representatives, and the human resource specialists within other federal agencies, with a 100% performance rating
