Transitioning teacher, eager to apply my M.Ed and ESL certification to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences for adult learners or clients. I have 8 years of teaching experience, including 5 years as an ESL Lead Teacher, where I instructed two grade levels and mentored a resident teacher, and an additional 3 years as a classroom teacher trained in the Science of Readjng.I am passionate about growing, learning, and celebrating progress, both for myself and my students. My cultural and musical awareness and helps me connect with diverse learners. I also think creatively and enjoy finding or generating products that match the learning goals and needs of my students or clients. I am an advocate for equity, accessibility, and safety within education, and I strive to foster a positive and supportive classroom environment.
