I am passionate about assisting commercial property owners, lenders, and investors in the due diligence and risk assessment of commercial real estate assets. I have touched thousands of commercial real estate projects from all phases including initial transactional due diligence, to site investigation and remedial assessment, to site remediation, to construction development, and to long-term operation and maintenance of engineering controls. I specialize in providing comprehensive environmental due diligence consulting services and evaluating environmental risks at commercial real estate properties including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, hotels/hospitality, mixed use, and special purpose. I also develop and manage environmental assessment programs to determine the nature and extent of corrective action at commercial, industrial, and municipal sites containing hazardous waste, universal waste, and/or hazardous materials in soil, groundwater, soil vapor, structures, and surface water. I also evaluate the compliance status of aboveground and underground storage tanks and systems, and I have managed and/or directed numerous projects within New York State’s Brownfield Cleanup Program, New York City’s Voluntary Cleanup Program, and New York City’s E-Designation Program and Restrictive Declaration Sites. I am a licensed Professional Geologist (PG) in NY, PA, and NH, and a nationally-Certified Professional Geologist (CPG).
