Growing up, I had many hobbies ranging from basketball, martial arts, dance, and music. Back then, these hobbies to me were recreational activities done for entertainment. As I grew up, I noticed these hobbies gave me irreplaceable skills I can apply in my professional career. Basketball has taught me to be competitive, teachable, and an amazing team player. Meanwhile, martial arts has taught me self-discipline to strive for my best self. Finally, dance and music have taught me ways to express myself and communicate with confidence to a crowd no matter how large or small. Today, I am a Computer Science graduate and a current Retail Manager/Keyholder. I have an Advanced Diploma in Computer Science from Algonquin College. I started working towards becoming a Computer Technician by working at Geek Squad but decided to pursue becoming a Web Developer instead. Outside of work, I am learning from a Web Developer course. I am currently working on side projects using various programming languages and technologies I have learned about such as HTML, CSS, JS, Node, and More! On top of that, I have basic proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite such as Word as well as Excel and Access for managing inventory changes in my current position.
