I design, build, and test storage for rugged applications and military standards. The latest project I have been working on is a series of tactical NAS systems for Lockheed Martin's MEADS International program.

I worked on the Storage Systems Product Group in Open Storage Platform Engineering. I worked on storage support engineering for our J44xx SAS/SATA Disk Arrays which included: hardware design, signal integrity, power and efficiency testing, performance benchmarking and workload analysis. I worked under the x64 Global Design Group in support for testing Sun's servers, with the Host Bus Adapter (HBA) group in integration with our disk array and servers, and the HDD and SSD Flash Engineering Team bringing up firmware builds for new drives.
