I started in the mortgage industry in 2000 in sales/originations. At a smaller company, I learned processing and even underwriting. I then branched out with an associate to help with the creation of a new company. I wore many hats including compliance, LOS development, process development, hiring and training a sales staff. In this industry of change, I found myself looking to improve processes at each new venture and have been the catalyst to many changes in processes. This has been intertwined with my passion for training. Along with updating processes, I helped not only train my co-workers on the changes, but this led to training underwriters for new programs (USDA, FHA, Jumbo) and help new underwriters obtain their authority.
