Lead a team of 4 Joint military, DoD civilian and contractor personnel to provide 24x7 command-wide internal and external network defense. This team maintained the information and communications security compliance for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Pacific Network assets both classified and unclassified by ensuring Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment Standards, system configuration requirements, network privileged access management, network scanning, certification maintenance at nine geographical sites across the US Army Pacific Command area of responsibility.

Commanded a split-deployed operational base signal company providing command, control, andcommunications throughout Afghanistan in direct support of Task Force (TF) Storm, TF Yucon, TFHammer, Combined Joint Task Force-101 and 82 (CJTF-82), International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), and the Warfighter. Exercised direct command, control and supervision of three Forward Operating Bases, responsible for the combat readiness, training, force protection and leadership of 62 Soldiers, 5 DACs, and 62 Contractors. Responsible for an annual operations budget of $500,000, $1.7M in procurements, a $150M Contract, and $25M worth of equipment.Responsible for the planning and coordination of operational and sustaining base communications to include the commercialization of designated tactical nodes in support of the SWA Global Information Grid (now call Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN).

Operations and Plans Officer for a forward stationed theatre signal battalion providing command and control communications throughout Afghanistan in direct support of support of US Forces Afghanistan, NATO International Security Assistance Force, Combined Joint Task Force-82nd Airborne Division, and Army Support Group-Qatar. Responsible for the engineering, planning, coordination, and information assurance of operational and sustaining base communications in support of the Southwest Asia Global Information Grid.

BMO for a tactical integrated theater signal battalion, responsible for the planning, coordinating, overseeing, and reporting of all maintenance operations and activities to the battalion executive officer and the commander. Directly responsible for the health, welfare, and training of 4 personal and the management of a fleet of 423 vehicles, generators, trailers, and 47 communication shelters in excess of $20.1 million.

For 3 different companies between 86th and 40th Signal Battalions. Responsible for the health, welfare, training, and morale for no less than 22 Soldiers. Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and the protection of no more than 13 vehicles, 9 generators, 6 trailers, and numerous organic equipment valued between $9M and $25M without loss or damage.
