From January 2015 to July 2019, I served as CEO at Grant Thornton LLP, the U.S. member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd, one of the world’s leading organizations of independent audit, tax and advisory firms. With over 8,000 colleagues in 59 offices across the country, I worked with our team to deliver to our clients a culture of quality, innovation and collaboration that led to consistent, high-quality results. During my 35+ years in the profession, I’ve worked with high-growth, startup and middle-market companies in a diverse range of industries. Much of my experience includes capital markets transactions and advisory services on M&A strategies and deal structure. My specialties include advisory, audit, cultural enrichment, technology innovation and leading industry disruption through enterprise-wide transformation. Through it all I’ve learned that culture is the most important asset for any organization.
