Mike originally launched BestXperts as a unique approach to cutting costs and retaining top SAP talent while acting as CIO for Pacific Coast Building Products (PCBP). With the support and endorsement of PCBP, Mike was able to add consulting to the long list of skills held by his team and eventually the demand for the BestXperts team led to the formation of an independent company.At BestXperts Mike provided vision, leadership, and business management as well as providing executive level consulting to customers, in roles such as Interim CIO, Strategic Advisor, Steering Committee Member, Quality Auditor, and more.

As the CIO of Raley's, Mike led initiatives to increase revenue and margin while developing a long-term corporate strategy. Mike oversaw the SAP implementation for North American Silicones Division of this $5B DM global chemical company.

Mike managed process-engineering, construction, process information systems, electrical, instrumentation, control, programming and design services. He controlled annual budgets up to $10.5M and all aspects of 20-plant projects. Mike spearheaded the company's ISO 9001 registration. Before moving into his engineer role in 1989, he served as a Research Chemist.
